My 2015 200 lost power steering today. I was intermittent during a the start of a 5 hour drive then totally quit about 3 hours in. Can anything be done short of replacing the rack and pinion w/motor?

Welcome to Allpar. Always diagnose first.
It could be an electrical system/poor ground issue. The EPS (electric power steering) module can store useful fault codes.
