How about about a real crossover SUV to replace the Journey. And soon. The Chrysler 300 needs something to keep buyers attention. When the time comes to trade they should find a contemporary 300 on a level of cars sold by the best of the competition, a ten year old platform with minor styling cue changes ain’t gonna bring buyers in the showroom.
Maybe excess advertising $$$ spent on Charger and Hellcat. People looking for SUVs aren’t interested.

Glad you posted that guess what increased on sales the large sedan that has 4 wheel drive capabilities. Out of all sedans the large sedan with 4wd capabilities is what increased in sales "Go figure" 300 awd V8 maybe

As for the Chrysler 300, Chrysler has made an increased effort in the past couple of years. Let's face it, Chrysler Pacifica is the face of the Chrysler brand these days. With the market on sedan's shrinking and yet FCA US owns over 50% of the minivan segment, of course the money is going to be going to Pacifica. Three weeks ago Chrysler launched a strictly 300 commercial, something we haven't seen in a full year.

Many of you haven't paid attention to the Chrysler 300 in the past three years. There are has been suttle things to Chrysler 300 to keep it fresh, but no one cares to see it.

2016 Chrysler 300S Alloy Edition

I don't see anyone embracing the fact of all the updated trims for 300. I have yet to see anyone mention the special edition Chrysler 300S Alloy Editions in 2016 (which are still available for 2018). The 300C got an upgraded Platinum edition which was a leader in its class for luxury in 2017. For 2018, the Chrysler 300C Platinum was relaunched as the standard 300C. Making it similar to the how the 2005 Chrysler 300C was to its lineup. People are also forgetting the amazing Chrysler 300S Sport Appearance Package we received in 2017 on 300S V8 models. It gave the car the export 300 SRT looks with a budget friendly price. For 2018, Sport Appearance Package was also added as an option for Touring models. Also a new Chrome Appearance Package was added to the Touring for this model year.

Everyone complains about the lack of the 300 SRT. But there is a couple of reasons why its not in the NAFTA market for sale. First, it was the not a strong seller in the entire SRT lineup from 2012 to 2014. Chrysler even offered a SRT Core (base level SRT) package for the car in 2013 and 2014 and the sales could not keep up with the Dodge Charger SRT8 and Challenger SRT8. Second, in 2014 the experimental SRT brand was discounted and merger with Dodge to create a one stop shop for performance SRT vehicles. With the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 being the best selling SRT, Dodge allowed it to keep its SRT nameplate here while the 300 SRT was discontinued in the NAFTA market but allowing a SRT version of that car to be sold in select markets were the 300 already had a brand presence, especially in New Zealand and Australia were the Dodge brand is not sold. Those are the only two reasons why the 300 SRT doesn't exist here. Grand Cherokee will be losing the SRT nameplate in the next generation and will be offering only Jeep's performance moniker of Trackhawk. So they SRT will be a strictly Dodge sub-brand, as Jeep will have Trackhawk and Ram will have Rebel. Vehicles will still keep the moniker found on the R/T Scat Packs of "Powered by SRT".

So as you can see, the 300 has not been ignored without updates and upgrades. The public has ignored it. Honestly, for all the people on here who say I want a 300 SRT in the lineup that's great. But maybe one or two of you, would actually buy one if it was back on the market. You must be blind. How do you figure nothing has been done to 300. I stated facts and showed proof of how it has changed. Saying a comment like that make you sound like one of the fools who say the earth is flat with no proof! lol. I want to see physical proof of what you are challenging me on. Because I can easily say, any vehicle doesn't change year to year anymore. Yet, trim packages, finishes, paints, wheels, options do all the time. This isn't the 50s, 60s and 70s anymore, where they change major details to the car year to year anymore. Maybe if you are so unhappy with the car, go buy a Buick. I agree but FCA has made the 300 a enthusiast based vehicle by not doing much for it so the loyalist and fleet are the keepers of the 300.

That's what I said in 2015 it was a lot of changes but visually it looks the same to non enthusiasts and I currently own a 300 and my misses have one also. Secondly I have owned at least 2 of every version of the 300 dating back to 1999 the reintroduction

I think the real problem people have is...They still make the 300 SRT for other countries,its not like its not being made at all..Thats why people have a hard time wrapping their heads around it ..

If Chrysler is supposed to be a Blue Collar LUXURY Brand..Todays luxury cars do have Muscle Car power..The 300 is or should be more of a sophisticated car than the Charger's stand in your face tough look.. 300 has an elegant muscle look to it..

392 300 will bring more media attention to the car and thats all where FCA gets their advertising from for the Charger/Challenger anyways..Trucks,minivans,suv's they have print,tv and on line adds...I never see a L series car advertised when viewing sites (non car related).I see Subaru,Lexus,Mercedes,Audi,BMW,Honda,Toyota car adds..Never any L series cars..

As for the You Tube commercial,yes people seen it who are Mopar fans but I havent run across it,while reading up on my stocks etc..

Oh I spoke enough about this ,really I just want the 300 to continue as an alternative sedan...It even sells better than most sedans even with next to no advertising spent on it...

I am happy with my 5.7 8 speed 300,but for the teens,20 somethings to have wet dreams about it again it needs the 392 (maybe the 6.2) Remember 20 somethings did dream of this car too...The Hellcat engines really made the light shine on Dodge...

But for the average person,just to let them know this car exists..With awd and 30 something mpg...Why do I care so much...I have no idea,maybe because its a great car !!

Except it’s not supposed to be blue collar luxury. That’s what people keep thinking and that’s where the misconceptions begin. People want Chrysler to be that, but that’s not where it’s headed. Time to start accepting that.

I think the real problem people have is...They still make the 300 SRT for other countries,its not like its not being made at all..Thats why people have a hard time wrapping their heads around it ..

If Chrysler is supposed to be a Blue Collar LUXURY Brand..Todays luxury cars do have Muscle Car power..The 300 is or should be more of a sophisticated car than the Charger's stand in your face tough look.. 300 has an elegant muscle look to it..

392 300 will bring more media attention to the car and thats all where FCA gets their advertising from for the Charger/Challenger anyways..Trucks,minivans,suv's they have print,tv and on line adds...I never see a L series car advertised when viewing sites (non car related).I see Subaru,Lexus,Mercedes,Audi,BMW,Honda,Toyota car adds..Never any L series cars..

As for the You Tube commercial,yes people seen it who are Mopar fans but I havent run across it,while reading up on my stocks etc..

Oh I spoke enough about this ,really I just want the 300 to continue as an alternative sedan...It even sells better than most sedans even with next to no advertising spent on it...

I am happy with my 5.7 8 speed 300,but for the teens,20 somethings to have wet dreams about it again it needs the 392 (maybe the 6.2) Remember 20 somethings did dream of this car too...The Hellcat engines really made the light shine on Dodge...

But for the average person,just to let them know this car exists..With awd and 30 something mpg...Why do I care so much...I have no idea,maybe because its a great car !!

But it falls back to Dodge being the SRT brand now and Chrysler isn't. If it wasn't for GC SRT sales, that wouldn't be a SRT either... and it won't be after 2019.

It would be cool, but its not happening.

While we “know the plan” there is no evidence of the plan in the showroom. It’s long, long overdue.

So why spend money to replace vehicles that are selling strong and aren't obsolete yet? I think that the ones complaining don't have any experience running a business. I suggest taking some business classes you might learn something.

Cash cow is business jargon for a business venture that generates a steady return of profits that far exceed the outlay of cash required to acquire or start it. They usually bring in cash for years, until new technology or shifting market preferences renders them obsolete.
