From the article:

The most obvious change has occurred inside the cabin where the ProMaster switches to Uconnect 5, bringing a choice between 7- and 10-inch touchscreens. In addition, the driver's display can be upgraded from a standard 3.5-inch screen to a full-color 7-inch setup offering reconfigurable display options, representing a significant upgrade over the outdated screen installed in the 2021MY.

It's a big huge deal despite the lack of body panel changes. Look through it. Nine-speed, upgraded V6 (more power), all sorts of safety gear included, digital rearview mirror (that might have already been there), forward sensors with all the stuff that entails, 10-inch center screen and 7-inch driver screen (low end is 7 and 3.5 inches), and most of all no freakin’ Fiat-Microsoft junk in the telematics.

MS is not on board for quite some time now. Ever since the debut of Uconnect 4.

European products have switched to Uconnect 4 long time ago. Every 7" unit is Uconnect 4. Of course if it's not Uconnect 5. But 7" can't be Uconnect 3.

What can confuse you is choice of services like navigation. Uconnect 4 was made both with Garmin and TomTom.

The STLA family are for passenger vehicles. The smaller Light Commercial vehicles are built off car platforms, but Ducato is its own front-drive architecture (Ducato is the lead product in the Ducato, ProMaster, Boxer, Jumper/Relay, Movano family of vans).

STLA Frame will not be used for any future Ducato. Unibody construction is essential to this kind of product, and switching to BoF would add weight and cost, while removing usable cargo space.
