All those changes seem likely to be attractive to business buyers, if the price is right, though they aren't going to gain many who care about looks.
If you're a fleet buyer and you already have Promasters do you want an update to the body panels? Seems like parity over a long period of time would be beneficial if you're a fleet manager. We have a fleet of survey trucks that become parts trucks for the others when they're placed out of service.

I hope then its smaller brother, the City Promaster will get some upgrades as well. I guess the next-gen City Promaster/Doblo will be based in the Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Rifter/Opel-Vauxhall Combo/Toyota Pro Ace.
Having difficulty finding complete dimensions for the Berlingo and Jumpy, but like the looks of the Jumpy—much like how I imagined a revamped Promaster City should look. Still hoping to see a compact ev drop side pickup in the near future.

Dimensions are easy.

Drop side pickup, not so easy.

There is a fiat promaster city drop side pickup in eirope.

I’m kinda hoping the next small van gets built in Mexico so we might have a chance at getting a drop side like the Doblo pictured above. I think it’s an untapped market herein the US.

I've wondered why we don't have that option (and the same on full size PM which IS sold as a chassis cab).
Probably because the drop side beds (which are available in the US) are not that popular installs on cab and chassis trucks. Regular dump beds, stake side flat beds, and utility beds are much more common.

Makes sense. I still don't think I've ever seen a ProMaster used in chassis cab form.

There are a bunch of pics of stake/flatbed promasters on the net.
I'm glad they are out there. I know they must exist. I just haven't seen any, and suspect it's not a popular option. Most people around here take Ford pickup chassis cabs and use those. Guess fuel is still cheap after all!
