I think... they did not, maybe, consider how a cynical person would view using characters from a 1950-2000 comic strip, known for Lucy jerking the football away from Charlie Brown at the last moment and last updated a quarter century ago, would see this.

So let's bring back the Road Runner and Wiley Coyote while we're at it!!

Now those are cartoon characters that people associate with Chrysler, that have spunk and “attitude,” and are still being developed and produced, and aren't ever used as a simile for Chrysler today.

So no.

Also, family vehicle.

I have some Peanuts memorabilia with the Ford Falcon. A non-offensive & good choice for family-oriented ads.

A lipstick red Pacifica would have appealed to some women. The horn could have made a "Boop Boop Be Doop" sound... 😂

On a serious note...what do vans do? Haul people/things...kids to football/soccer practice...wouldn't a better marketing alliance say with the NFL/FIFA have made more sense than Peanuts?
I could see Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Messi Argentina, Ronaldo Portugal, or Neymar Brazil themed Chrysler Pacificas being a hit.

“Comedians.”
Jim Gaffigan’s shtick of the “incompetent dad” is such a stereotype I don't know that he deserves to be called a comedian.

And btw... wouldn't be so bad with Peanuts if Charles S. was still alive!
