Ford Issues 'Do Not Drive' Warning Over Recall of Pair of 2025 Broncos

Yup, 2 vehicles involved. Probably the smallest recall ever for the beleaguered Ford Motor Company.

In a recall notice filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford says these two Broncos may have a missing or improperly torqued nut on the ball joint that connected the front upper control arm to the steering knuckle assembly. The worst-case scenario result of this problem would be a complete separation of the upper control arm and, in turn, a partial loss of directional control without warning.

Bottom line - You may shoot off the road...

Everyone still laughs at the number of recalls Ford is issuing but it seems more like they're trying to publicly and proactively fix issues, which is a completely different thing. Otherwise, why bother making something this public for two vehicles when they could have probably fixed them extremely quietly without telling anyone.

Of course, then the dealers put the recall work at the back of the line and screw up the warm fuzzies....

My curiosity is if they have parts when needed.
FCA was horrible and got their hands slapped over this.
I’m starting to see GM and Ford owners posting about problems getting repair parts (not recall parts) but that’s something FCA USA owners have been dealing with for some time.
