@redriderbob with the demise of the SRT392, will you be able to get the better interior in the ScatPack? There was no mention of that in the press release, and I hate the ScatPack seats....

 

More info to come obviously, but I have no doubt it will have interior trim upgrades. I don’t expect the full alcantara package to be available on the Scat Pack though, but I could be wrong.

Alcantara/Laguna Leather Seats are optional now in R/T Scat Pack for 2019.

Basically a R/T Scat Pack can be optional with Alcantara/Laguna Leather Seats, Dynamics Package, 900-watt sound system and has 4-mode suspension. The only thing you don't get is the SRT Flat Bottom Steering Wheel and the SRT badges.

This, of course, is false.

The Charger Pursuit AWD model - North America's #1 selling police car - will continue (along with the V6 and V8 RWD models) alongside their Durango Pursuit stablemates. The AWD Charger Pursuit remains the only V8 Chrysler product with AWD.

I will have a 2019 Charger Pursuit update available in the Fleet section very soon.

The nostrils on the scatpack are growing on me. Still not totally convinced, but it's not so bad now.

Standard Houndstooth is an issue, though. It's just so damn ugly. Thank god Alcantara is an option, but honestly, I wish they'd stuck with the normal sports cloth.

I agree. I don't like the Houndstooth seats either.

 

I could live with the Houndstooth interior but if they bring back the paisley vinyl top I'm out of here.

 

Awww come on !!!! You didn't like the Mod Tops !!!! They are highly collectible nowadays !!! I think the Mod Top cars are probably about as rare as the Hemi Cars are if not rarer. LOL

Bummed that I held out for a 2019 GT AWD only to find out it's gone! Guess I have no choice but to get a Scat Pak Charger B5 blue to match the 1969 R/T Charger I used to own.(and wish I still had it, what was I thinking when I sold it!)

I love it. Especially with what appears to be re-finished scat pack rims. I love those rims. Safe to assume that there will still be a STP with the hotter final drive?

 

If I was a betting man, R/T is going 392, scat pack 426, hellcat 797

 

RT with the 392 as standard would be interesting, but the 392 gets hit with the gas guzzler tax does it not? (at least in manual form?). Not sure how wise that would be for the base V8...maybe not an issue?

Top of the IP does look a bit nicer vs the rubbery looking/feeling current dash. But, "they" still need to move the seat heat/vent controls to either the dash or center column.

 

My guess is next gen Charger will get 2.0T on SXT and GT, 3.0TT on R/T,7.0( 426) on R/T Scat Pack and 6.2SC on SRT Hellcat.

 

So, are we predicting that the 5.7 on the next generation is to be no more? Truck only?

 

Some have suggested the 5.7 will be completely redesigned. How accurate that is I don’t know. 7.0 seems huge in a passenger car, but reliable people tell us it’s coming...
