If I was a betting man, R/T is going 392, scat pack 426, hellcat 797
RT with the 392 as standard would be interesting, but the 392 gets hit with the gas guzzler tax does it not? (at least in manual form?). Not sure how wise that would be for the base V8...maybe not an issue?

Not a problem for the Charger at all since manual isn’t offered.
Good point. And considering driving a manual is a dying art, it would seem that it may be even less of an issue....

Some have suggested the 5.7 will be completely redesigned. How accurate that is I don’t know. 7.0 seems huge in a passenger car, but reliable people tell us it’s coming...
No doubt, the easy way to make power is via displacement as the 392 bears out but I'm not looking for a world beater engine for a daily driver - just a respectable lower displacement (still 8 cyl) that can maintain a distinction between rival offerings. Since this is to be in a Charger, this shouldn't be too much to ask but i know that redesigning the 5.7 may be asking for alot given the current corporate climate...

7.0L in an upscale Hemi Charger? Of course and, if this occurs, it would be configured to be one of my keeper collectibles but for a daily duty driver there's just too little a difference between 3.6 and 5.7 in this car to consider the base hemi, and subsequently the entire vehicle so configured at this point.

The CFO said they are going to be raising prices. That leather dash will turn into an alcantara headliner, wheel and door panels and drastic weigh savings by way of aluminum and carbon fiber. The top dog cars will have 850-1000hp and cost $100,000+ in the not too distant future IMO.

Better picture of leather wrapped dash and doors.

The only thing that still bothers me about the Charger interior is that "block" where the HVAC controls are. Wish something could be done about that.

The leather-wrapped dash looks great though. Can't wait to see an image with a wider shot of it!

I don't mind it, but it is pretty flimsy plastic with a lot of give when you press on it.
