RT with the 392 as standard would be interesting, but the 392 gets hit with the gas guzzler tax does it not? (at least in manual form?). Not sure how wise that would be for the base V8...maybe not an issue? If I was a betting man, R/T is going 392, scat pack 426, hellcat 797
Not a problem for the Charger at all since manual isn’t offered.RT with the 392 as standard would be interesting, but the 392 gets hit with the gas guzzler tax does it not? (at least in manual form?). Not sure how wise that would be for the base V8...maybe not an issue?
Good point. And considering driving a manual is a dying art, it would seem that it may be even less of an issue....Not a problem for the Charger at all since manual isn’t offered.
Top of the IP does look a bit nicer vs the rubbery looking/feeling current dash. But, "they" still need to move the seat heat/vent controls to either the dash or center column.Better picture of leather wrapped dash and doors.
Some have suggested the 5.7 will be completely redesigned. How accurate that is I don’t know. 7.0 seems huge in a passenger car, but reliable people tell us it’s coming...So, are we predicting that the 5.7 on the next generation is to be no more? Truck only?
No doubt, the easy way to make power is via displacement as the 392 bears out but I'm not looking for a world beater engine for a daily driver - just a respectable lower displacement (still 8 cyl) that can maintain a distinction between rival offerings. Since this is to be in a Charger, this shouldn't be too much to ask but i know that redesigning the 5.7 may be asking for alot given the current corporate climate...Some have suggested the 5.7 will be completely redesigned. That's actually not a bad deal on the adjustable suspension. I was expecting it to be much higher considering it was the only real differentiator from the defunct SRT trim.2019 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Pricing: - Mopar Insiders (at https://moparinsiders.com/2019-dodge-charger-r-t-scat-pack-pricing/ )

The only thing that still bothers me about the Charger interior is that "block" where the HVAC controls are. Wish something could be done about that.Better picture of leather wrapped dash and doors.

I don't mind it, but it is pretty flimsy plastic with a lot of give when you press on it.The only thing that still bothers me about the Charger interior is that "block" where the HVAC controls are. Wish something could be done about that.
The leather-wrapped dash looks great though. Can't wait to see an image with a wider shot of it!

I looked at some pictures and it looks like it would be a pain to install.Buy a graphics kit...
