Where are you getting your information? Do you have a source or just looking for conformation?

 

I think this was talked about before and it sounded like never would happen because it would
be way to long for any truck (eccept maybe the Ram long hauler if they make it, however that was a 5500).

 

Just seeing if it a possibility. Longbedmytruck.com stretches mega cab short boxes said it would be 2 feet longer than standard mega cab 270" as opposed to 248" not much longer than Ford crew cab at 263". They said the wheelbase is 180"

You know..that is from Woods Cross, right here in Utah! So, you probably have seen that very truck in Moab. These guys have a reality show on TLC or something..I watch it every week.

I could be wrong, but it sure looks longer than an 8 foot bed also. But then it is a crew cab with the small short bed to compare it too, but compared to the long hauler concept it looks to be 10 feet.

 

Ha. I just seen in your other post with more pics that it is a 10 foot bed. Awesome

 

I look forward to it. The option report (pulled through Chrysler's internal system) with the VIN will specify exactly what it is, (or was if this is a conversion).

 

BTW, base price on the window sticker is $52,605, I believe.

 

This isnt the Long hauler since it doesnt have the extra Capacity Fuel Tank

We know people are customizing these trucks - doesn't mean Ram will do it. Or that they won't once they move into S.H. and rebuild Warren, but...

I'm sure it's a conversion. Somebody wanted to one up the others.

Dealer near me sold some of the first ones with a 8ft bed. They were done quite nicely.

 

I looked at the dealer website trying to find more information but did not see it listed yet. The sticker(s) on the window should say what this really is and how much extra it costs.
