Big day (finally) for Mopar doorslammer drivers at the NHRA "Dodge/SRT Mile High Nationals" event yesterday.

Kayla Mozeris drove her SS GT/LA '93 Dodge Daytona to the win in Super Stock. This is a class that allows engine swaps and FWD cars to be converted to RWD. I believe this car is powered by a 318' motor.

In Stock Eliminator, 2 Dodge Challengers ended up battling for the win. Dwayne Scheitlin's '70 A/SA Challenger defeated Craig Maddox's 2015 FS/C Challenger.

For icing on the cake, Kayla's dad, Joe, won Competition Elim in a Mopar powered econo-rail.

I'll add article/photos from the pertinent issue of "National Dragster" whenever I get it. ND has now been converted to a monthly publication so it may be awhile .

I don't usually follow Super Street much but it looks like a Mopar pulled of a win there too. I believe the rules of this class require engine and body make to match but I couldn't find the motor specs on the entry sheet for this class to confirm that. NHRA used to list the motor specs in a box on this page but don't do that anymore .
