Yes its an old model, but its still racing in Europe, trying to hold the Chrysler (or is that Fiat) flag high.

Love this series, all the different manufacturers V8 engine sounds, like music to ones ears.

Nascar sounds so generic next to these. I understand that they are standard engines, just tuned, pipes, cai etc.

Enjoy some practice sessions from this year.

Be nice if they raced the Challenger SRT 6.4.......

My understanding of the rules, is that they are original engines for the model of car raced.
So the Chrysler has a 6.1 litre new Hemi SRT street engine, the Merc has the 6.2 litre C63 engine, the Chevs use the 6.2 LS3 engine, the BM uses the 4.5 engine etc....all production original street engines, not race engines.
That is what makes it exciting.....these are real production engine sounds, just like the 60s.
There are other videos of the pits, and looking at the engine bays, they are stock other than the plastic all removed.
I think they run a controlled engine management, FI, headers, controlled gearbox etc etc, either way they are 450hp engines stock, so with a tune they are probably 600hp or so.
Plus they are lightened of course, no a/c, interior etc. I think most are built by one or two race companies over there.
Would be cheap racing, no exotic stuff....is very competitive. looks like fun.
