Yes, I concur, that was my observation as well. I think they may be able to improve the angles because gas mileage doesn't matter as much on Cherokee as range on WagS. Does look like front clips are different, ride height is different, wheels will probably be different, interiors I expect to be different but maybe not.
The more closely I look at it, the more I think it's still lower than I'd like it to be. I'm hoping that it's just a skidplate and not nearly double-width like the Wagoneer S has down there.

I like this better than the Wagoneer. But it also brings me to my question that I must ask out loud. WHY COULDN'T THE WAGONEER HAVE BEEN A NEW CHRYSLER???

At least in North America. Electric only would have been great for a Chrysler and they could have improved the ride quality to really make it premium. The Wagoneer is a fantastic product, just in the wrong brand imo.
The Wagoneer S should’ve been a Chrysler. Not a Jeep. Chrysler desperately needs product!!!

Well, yes. And if customers really liked it, a BEV Cherokee would fill that space.
Oh, you mean the real Wagoneer? It's kinda hard to tell...!
I mean joking aside I do thing the Wagoneer could have been a DODGE Ramcharger and the Grand Wagoneer could have been a Town and Country.

I don't see why Jeep needed that product in that format.

like I've said before; the Wagoneers should've been Chrysler (or Dodge) here, and Jeeps elsewhere. Would've worked out better.

What international markets would they sell in though?
Anywhere they sell Jeep? Which is the most international brand we have. lol

But the RWD/AWD ones barely sell outside North America.
True - but that doesn't change that they don't really suit US market's image of Jeep. Those vehicles are still more Chrysler than Jeep bc they lack real offroad capability.

The BOF Wagoneer should have been a Ram.

Wait until the specs come out for the Cherokee.. STLA Large has the potential of offering 11.3" of ground clearance and 32.6" tires.

Overall length range: 187.6-201.8 inches (4,764-5,126 mm)
Overall width range: 74.7-79.9 inches (1,897-2,030 mm)
Wheelbase range: 113.0-121.1 inches (2,870-3,075 mm)
Ground clearance range: 5.5-11.3 inches (140-288 mm)
Maximum tire diameter: 32.6 inches (828 mm)

Because no one wants to buy something called a Town and Country or Chrysler.

Sure - the Wagoneer S had 31.5's - but I'm not sure if the ground clearance was improved all that much, an inch or two? . The angles were improved though.

I'm using the Wagoneer S because the Cherokee seems to be very close to the Wagoneer S in body aside from the front & rear clip from what we can see. Same fenders, same doors, same door handles etc..

100% Wasn't Chrysler supposed to be the EV brand? IIRC I mentioned that in a previous post years ago. They had proposed Chrysler as an EV brand, then subsequently announced the Airflow, Wagoneer S, the Charger EV, the Recon, and the RAM REV. So I was like I'm confused, shouldn't Chrysler be getting most of the EVs?

That was just more BS to hide the lack of thought from FCA USA. FCA USA's number one product has been excuses.
Now the line is Chrysler's EV are waiting for the next new tech.

Corporate could very easily make the S a Chrysler. Call it the Pacifica E. And this vehicle looks more like the original Pacifica which was a CUV not a minivan.
It could have been the Airflow. I'm pretty sure it WAS the airflow before it got handed over to Jeep.

Chrysler Aspen, Chrysler AIrflow, Ram Trailduster, Dodge Stealth. Could have gone that way but corporate is way too Jeep focused.
