BYD Han base with bz4X lights and Crown-inspired 4-spoke steering wheel.

Not a Toyota fan, just covering all brands equally, I wouldn't be surprised if they go with a design like this. I don't think the Crown's interior will spread to other models - they'll more likely take from the bz4x.

For whatever reason, of the modern Toyotas, The only interiors I think look decent are the JDM Century, the new Crown, and the Alphard/Vellfire models.

For my tastes, I find the belt line too high.

While not in the market for a Camry (or similar) I appreciate the larger greenhouse / low belt line (note side window glass) of the current Camry.

It's my opinion that the shift from sedans to SUVs/CUVs has been accelerated by the claustrophobia-inducing shrinking greenhouses of many (most?) sedan lines. The current Camaro is the (non-sedan) extreme example of the phenomena, but it's pretty widespread among sedans too.

This is the BYD Han, which I based the Camry off of, since it has some Toyota design language in it, and Toyota is also working with them for their bz3 sedan. I didn't change much, does the BYD itself have a high belt line?

My opinion is that Toyota needs you badly and they should leave it just like it is in your drawing, beltline and all. Its safer too to side intrusion and quieter as well. You need to apply since the current Camry's are tiresome and goofy looking to me.

Toyota still sells over 300k Camry’s per year in a market where people are moving to CUVs in large numbers. Obviously the styling isn’t driving away many sales. I don’t care for Toyota’s styling but with 300k Camry’ and 400k RAV4 asked per year, it seems to be working for them.
