I'm pretty sure this is a mule; and probably a little farther from production design than we think. Even the cluster looks a bit off; like it's too big for the "dart" dash.
I know they didn't do that, but it looks that way. Cluster looks like the common TFT cluster to me.

It is a mule... Finish of materials is not set in stone

Nice very upscale European... if you like that sort of thing
Actually the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw this is: so much for mixing European and American styling! That interior is 100% American in style, no way any European house would offer with something like that (not Lancia surely, so I think we also have an answer to that question).
Looks massive, solid, almost brutal in its proportions: people will love it IMO. And goes well with the seemingly high belt line of the exterior and the metal-to-glass ratio.
They are going for a look that suggests safety and solidity, a good decision IMO.

But is there really no better way to integrate the 8" screen? All that black plastic around it sucks!

I will voice my complaint. The center console looks high and wide. That usually means my right leg won't be comfortable. I have the same issue with my Challenger and it was present in my 300C as well. It keeps me from being as comfortable as I could be, but then my legs are longer proportionally than my arms.

But visually, I like the look of it so far.

Tasty!

I dont see the Dort reference, but I have not spent enough time in them to say "Aha! Thats a Dart!" when I see an interior shot.

I was wondering what I had heard about the HVAC stuff, now it makes sense!

And again, I'm glad my wife bought a 2012. I don't like what they did with the center stack, the 2012 was graceful and this is just ugly modular.

I like the interior's looks and it's definitely a big step up! Think they'll put the 8.4 inch screen in there?
Why wouldn't they?

I'm glad they finally killed the clock. They looked like a cheap afterthought in pretty much every vehicle they were installed in. The 200 probably had the best execution of it, but it still wasn't that awesome.

Either way, new interior is looking pretty good. I'm hoping they can get a shot of one with the 8.4". I'm assuming most 200s will probably be optioned with it, and the interior will look best with it.

Maybe this is the "S" or other sporty model equivalent interior. I hope that there's a trim level with something other than dark gray/black trim and that has some woodgrain in the mix. This doesn't look very upscale to me at all. The apparent texture of the dash padding looks just like what's in the current 200.

As for The Knob, it does look like it's in a very convenient place. I also like the HVAC controls 1) also being knobs and not buttons or even worse, being part of the touchscreen, and 2) being close to reach also. Here in TX when you get in a hot car on a 100 degree day, the last thing you want to encounter is complicated HVAC controls.

Personal feeling, I dig it. Aesthetically at least. It looks over all, nice. Although as some of mentioned it's also unfinished, and it looks unfinished accordingly. So I won't criticize that.

Now as far as the lay out, ergonomically, it seems like that setup intrudes on space a bit. I would personally probably find it slightly more cramped. But I dunno. Overall, I think it will be received very well. Looking forward to it's release.

A mule it's a mule after all, I loved the clock for the past 200 and I don't really think it is drop down after all... until the official version it's released atleast.
I dig the clock. I'm pretty much sure the clock helped sell the 200 over the Avenger to my mom for the way the interior all came together. I have to agree it really is a nice touch. The Cadillac round style and the previous Sebrings was a nice try, but it didn't scream at me like the ones put into the Chrysler cars for 2011+. That 200 always makes me smile to see. From the walk around the car, to climbing in behind the wheel, seeing it all come together with the clock as a center piece. Considering it is the v6; I'm a little less happy to sit in back, but it has the vibe of a luxury cove back there at night with the white leds on the black leather.

I thought the "knob" was for increasing room on the center console. All I see is Chrysler taking things out of the dash and adding them to the extra space that was supposed to be there.
Thats good for Trucks.... Its Luxurious the way you see it in the pictures for Cars. See Audi and Jaguars.

I'm not too sure about this interior yet. I'd have to make my decision once the final model is introduced. I'm digging the Jeep Cherokee's interior more.

As a man, I hate sitting on my wallet. I therefore like to place it in a tray somewhere in the dash. I don't see a place here. Cherokee has a small tray ahead of the shifter. I also carry reading glasses and once again, I don't see a place for me to place them. I also really hope that there's a sunglass holder on the roof.

For me, a interior can make or break an car. Interior design sometimes get in the way of ergonomics and convenience.
