Following the conversion of Chrysler Group to FCA UC and Fiat SpA to FCA Italy, Chrysler Canada is now FCA Canada.

The Chrysler Canada name survived the full Daimler era intact. The organization itself dates back to well before Chrysler itself existed; the first factories to be used by Chrysler Canada were built by Maxwell Motors, which made the first Chryslers, in 1916. When Chrysler Corporation was created in 1925 as a shell company to acquire all of Maxwell’s assets, the Maxwell Windsor plant, making Chrysler cars since 1924, was part of the deal, and the Chrysler Corporation of Canada, Ltd., was created to acquire Maxwell-Chalmers Motor Company of Canada.
