Allpar sources have said that the Hurricane four-cylinder turbocharged engines  have been in testing for some time, with dozens having already been built.

Given the timetable for launch, the engines are likely well into durability testing. Various rumors have pegged the power ratings at around 260-280 hp for the standard, MultiAir version, and Automotive News reported 300 hp for a Jeep Wrangler engine (a V6 would remain available on the iconic SUV).

The torque ratings remain unknown, but there has been a suggestion that the most powerful Hurricane would beat the torque of the Pentastar V6, rated at 260-269 pound-feet.  Recent turbocharged engines have tended to have fairly consistent torque throughout the engine’s power band.
