I blame Stellantis for not promoting the Hurricane aggressively as an improvement and even comparing it to Ford's Ecoboost as a step up. Ford has no problem selling the F-series with the turbo 6. Stellantis should've advertised the Hurricane's virtues repeatedly instead of ignoring how people would feel when the Hemi was dropped. They did next to nothing and suffered from their own stupidity. Had they launched the Hurricane effectively, the Hemi wouldn't be returning now, IMO. The teething problems with the Hurricane also didn't help, and while not prevalent, went pretty much unaddressed to quell fears.Had Stellantis not dropped the Hemi abruptly and given Ram buyers a choice, there probably wouldn't have been such an outcry.
