I read an interview with someone who was in one of those commercials and they said that yes, they are "real" people, but they are picked based on how excited they could be about the vehicles. The handlers would goad them on to gush about the cars/trucks until it got absurd, then the cameras would roll. Some of the dumber statements were just said to satisfy the manic PR reps.

Went to one of their casting calls with my bf (who is/was an avid fan of the show). The more "energetic" you were, the more likely you'd get a call back / secondary audition. The more idiotic and flamboyant you were, the better.

Yeah, no way.

ramajamaFCA makes the best, most captivating ads by a country mile. Not even close.

Ford makes the most disingenuous ads.

Chevy makes the douchiest ads. But dang I'm glad they aim it mostly at Ford. They deserve it.Except for the totally unrealistic Ram add where the father and son drive out to a aircraft graveyard and magically find a Vought F4U Corsair just sitting there almost ready to fly. That happens ALL the time....

Of course the producers probably regretted having me a part of the show as I was fairly passive the entire time ...

I assume the 4wd buttons will be below the PRND, but what is the oval looking pod above the PRND?

The dial is great and I would much rather have the storage space in the console. Hope that it is cost effective to offer the dial in any seating configuration.

I totally agree a more pronounced big rig look with some curvy lines. Try to find somebody who is stirred by a box bed a box hood & a box cab. You can't do it even if you are talking to the owners.

The 94 truck wasn't a great technological leap over the 93 but sales started to soar. No one hated the old box but people were definitely stirred & inspired by the new look.

If you don't learn from history you are bound to repeat it. This is a time proven statement that applies to many things. Innovate trends inspire or repeat the sales numbers from the early 90s.. Dismal falls short to describe sales numbers of the early 90s Dodge trucks.

here is what i hoe for in the 2019 RAmM; 1. better IIHS safety rating, nothing below a 5. 2. Sep bumper so i can get up in the bed with out a step ladder. 3. 360 degree camera. 4. Electric controls on the passenger seat in the Big Horn level. ( the Ford 150 has then in the XLT level) 5. Better headlights at all levels. 6 .Go back to the 100,000 mile power train warranty. 7. 115 volt power outlet in the backseat for passengers. 8. Hopefully Sergio will retire as he said he will.
